Roots / Routes, developed for LUGA – Luxembourg Urban Garden, takes its inspiration from the invisible mycelial networks so as to explore the themes of memory, interconnection, rootedness, and the diversity of human trajectories. This transdisciplinary project brings together circus, theatre, dance, and live music.

Roots / Routes brings together professional and amateur artists for a collective creation anchored in interviews and documentary research. Together, we weave together personal narratives with outdoor spaces, giving rise to a series of ephemeral site-specific performances.

Each performance, presented in a different LUGA garden, examens into and questions our (in)visible ties to the places we inhabit, pass through, or dream of.
